Hello
"Where creativity meets progress, and every space becomes a stage for growth—empowering minds, shaping futures, and honouring the echoes of learning yet to come."
Will
Will Kemp is the visionary Founder and Lead Consultant of Vestigia Theatre Solutions, bringing over 20 years of leadership as a Head and Director of Drama across both comprehensive and private educational settings. A respected authority in performance arts education, production, and consultancy, Will is renowned for creating dynamic, inclusive, and high-performing learning environments that inspire creativity and foster growth.

A passionate and progressive educator, Will’s student-centred philosophy ensures that every project he leads is rooted in inclusivity, innovation, and excellence. He has successfully directed and produced large-scale, professional-grade productions involving up to 125 staff and 325 students—raising artistic standards while fostering collaboration, resilience, and skill development across all levels.

In addition to his educational work, Will has spent 24 years designing and building sets for productions of every scale. His creative ingenuity and technical acumen have seen him collaborate with professional teams from theatres and schools alike, tackling complex staging challenges with imaginative engineering solutions. From designing a full-scale flying car to orchestrating the dramatic descent of the entire city of Athens from above the stage, Will’s work consistently blends artistic ambition with mechanical precision.

His wide-ranging experience also includes roles as a Director, Writer, and Producer for everything from intimate theatrical experiences to large-scale public performances. Will’s rare ability to combine visionary storytelling with spatial, structural, and logistical expertise has earned him a reputation as a transformative force in the performing arts.

The name Vestigia reflects more than just a brand—it encapsulates Will’s pedagogical and creative philosophy. Inspired in part by Ben Aaronovitch’s novels, where the word refers to the lingering traces of past magic, Vestigia in Will’s work symbolises the echoes of every performance, every story told, and every creative risk taken. It’s a belief that spaces can hold memories and energy—that the past can inform the future of a place and that performance venues should be designed to honour what has been while inspiring what is yet to come. This philosophy aligns seamlessly with his educational ethos: that learning and creativity are cumulative, layered, and ever-evolving.

At the core of Vestigia Theatre Solutions is Will’s mission to reimagine performance spaces as vibrant, adaptable, and future-ready environments. Drawing on a trusted network of consultants—including experts in acoustics, lighting, and architectural design—he ensures each project delivers tailored, sustainable solutions that reflect the unique identity and needs of the institution.
In Will’s words:

“We start with the space. We establish what the space needs to be and explore the possibilities of what the space could be. Working with our clients and multiple stakeholders, we ensure that your building becomes the best Theatre, Auditorium, Performance Space or Classroom it can be.”

Guided by the Latin phrase Vestigia nulla retrorsum—“No steps backward”—Will’s approach is rooted in progress, imagination, and integrity. He honours the past while pushing the boundaries of what educational and performance spaces can be.

Through Vestigia Theatre Solutions, Will Kemp combines deep expertise in theatre design, set construction, acoustics, and performance optimisation with his unwavering commitment to student experience and creative exploration. His work empowers schools to build not only technically outstanding performance spaces, but also meaningful environments that foster artistic expression, community, and legacy.

As the driving force behind Vestigia Theatre Solutions, Will continues to shape the future of educational performance venues—crafting spaces where learning, storytelling, and possibility collide.
